PROCUREMENT - MAINTENANCE
Temp to Hire Position (90 days)
8am-4:30pm
Pay rate $20.00
Experience in managing inventory and ordering from vendors- Supply Chain
E-verity and Background check required.
Summary:
As a Maintenance Procurement Coordinator, you will manage the maintenance budget, plan work orders or facility repairs, and perform plant and/or maintenance department day-to-day reviews to ensure that the facility is operating reliably and safely. You will also serve as a liaison between maintenance and production to effectively schedule and coordinate planned maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
· Screen and approve work orders to ensure job priority and efficient utilization of maintenance resources.
· Manage and track maintenance budget, identify variances, and provide explanations to justify budget deviations.
· Monitor maintenance schedules to ensure there is no conflict with production schedules.
· Prioritize non-emergency and break-in work order requests to approve and reject, review complete work orders, and produce schedule for the next day/week.
· Maintains audit control documents and corporate maintenance metric measurables.
· Track all equipment information and spare parts and documentation.
· Manage TS 16949, AS9100 & ISO14001 system requirements relating to maintenance.
· Manage maintenance work order process flow.
· Work with maintenance and production teams to develop maintenance schedules.
· Work with maintenance team to identify appropriate contractors for major maintenance as necessary.
· Raising purchase request, follow up with purchase orders and finding alternate sources.
· Identify parts required for necessary maintenance efforts (preventative maintenance, machine repairs, etc.) and plan/budget for the acquisition of required parts.
· Manage inventory by setting up min/max quantities, reorder components/spares as needed, receive and put-away spares, maintain appropriate metrics.
· Maintain planned work order backlog according to facility guidelines and utilize backlog to schedule daily and weekly work list.
· Screen and approve all work orders for the operating department to ensure coding accuracy and symptoms are accurately described.
· Develop hands-on knowledge and expertise of production equipment, parts, functions and processes through observation and engaging with employees on the production floor.
· Partner with Maintenance Technicians and Manager to review work requests and determine feasibility and safety controls for work to be performed.
· Communicate with production team and maintenance staff to resolve chronic and repeat failures with equipment, provide status updates on maintenance efforts, and gather feedback.
· Participate in production meetings to review upcoming work requests, weekly scheduling, and outage planning.
· Adheres to budget requirements in making purchasing decisions.
